Wow, where did the year go! So much happened last year. Scott got engaged and became a father. Jen and Dan relocated to Illinois and came down here twice to visit. George ended up in the hospital for a week. I on the other hand have been healthy.
I got on the scale this morning for the first time this year and it said that I have lost 3 more pounds putting me down to 188. I haven't been this low since I don't know when. I am able to wear size 18W jeans. I want to go try on a pair that has a zipper in them and see how they fit. The ones I have now are just a pull on with an elastic waist. I will need someone to take another picture of me to post, most of the ones I have I am sitting down.
I am really wrapped up in my grandson. I just can't get enough of the little guy. I took him to church with me this past Sunday and he was a good little boy. I put him to sleep right after the service begun and he slept until it was time for communion.
Scott and Amber are getting ready to move into her mother's house here in Harlingen. Her mother remarried and they have moved into his house in Rio Hondo. I have taken them boxes and they are getting things moved over.
I took Connor to the Wed. night dinner at church this past Wed. It was a Chili cook off and all the Chili's that I tasted were good. My good friend Beth's Chili won First Place. It was delicious!!! Connor slept through most of it. He is getting so cute, he coos and laughs now. He wants to sit up all the time.
We have had a cold front come through yesterday. The temp. this morning is about 35 degrees. It is a little breezy and expecting a freeze tonight. I have sorta covered some of my roses we'll see how they do.
Hope everyone had a great and safe New Year's Day. Here are a few pics of Connor taken this past week.
Connor really likes his bouncer chair and talks to Big Bird and Cookie Monster all the time. Elmo is missing because our dog Misty decided to take him off. Gramma left the bouncer in the living room several days before the dog decided to help herself to Elmo, now I will have to add another toy to it.
